Coach Requirements
All coaches are required to have the following:
Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sectors Check Instructions
Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sectors Check Volunteer Letter
Respect in Sport for Coaches
Coaching Code of Conduct
All age divisions require some level of Hockey Alberta Coaching Certification; U15 and U18 coaches need to complete the Checking Skills clinic.
Certifications are due no later than November 15.

Coach Selections
All team coaches will be determined by the EWAA Coaching Coordinator along with the EWAA Board of Directors. Coaching evaluations, recommendations and experience are taken into consideration.
Coach Evaluations
The purpose of evaluating our coaches is to provide feedback which will encouage our coaches and contribute to their developement, and also to assist in the selection process, Coaching evaluations will take place at the end of each season.
